Community Guidelines

Founday is a game about noticing an ordinary city. The shared feed works only because it stays calm and safe for everyone. These guidelines form part of the Terms of Use.

1. The five shooting rules

The app shows these before your first shot:

People & faces	Strangers, kids, crowds — not without their consent
Documents & IDs	Passports, licenses, tickets, private mail
Plates & private data	Car plates, home addresses, card numbers
Screens & messages	Other people's screens, chats or notifications
Photos of photos	Find the real thing — not a print, poster or screen

Daily tasks are written so that they can be completed without photographing people and without entering anyone's private space. If a task seems to require breaking that rule, it is asking for something else.

2. Respect for the people around you

• Do not photograph people close up and recognisably without their consent — children especially.
• Do not shoot where people are entitled to privacy: homes, hospitals, changing rooms, toilets.
• Do not shoot where photography is prohibited by law or by the rules of the place.
• A passer-by who happens to be in frame is not a crime: we try not to publish such shots rather than punish you for them.

3. What may not be published

• Sexual content and nudity.
• Violence, cruelty, shocking imagery, blood, animal abuse.
• Hate and harassment: symbols, insults and threats based on nationality, religion, sex, orientation or disability.
• Promotion of self-harm, eating disorders and dangerous "challenges".
• Illegal content of any kind, and sexual material involving minors — which leads to an immediate block and referral to the competent authorities.
• Advertising, spam, links to other services, attempts to sell anything.
• Other people's personal data and anything that helps locate a specific person.

4. Honesty in the game

• The app's built-in camera only — uploading existing photos is impossible and must not be worked around.
• No generated, composited or borrowed images.
• One person, one account.

5. How moderation works

Every photo is checked automatically: whether the task is completed and whether anything prohibited is in frame. Two things worth knowing:

• The check is tuned in the player's favour. When in doubt, the task is credited.
• Credit and publication are different things. A doubtful photo simply does not reach the shared feed. You still see it in your collection, and the credit and streak stay with you. A moderation mistake never burns a streak.

6. Reports and blocking

• Every photo in the feed has a report button. A few reports hide the shot automatically until a human reviews it.
• Any player can be hidden from your feed — their finds stop appearing for you. The list of hidden players lives in Settings → Privacy → Blocked.
• If you see something illegal or dangerous, report it immediately; where life is at risk, call the emergency services — we are not a substitute for the police.

7. Consequences

1–2 violations	A warning in the app
3 violations	Publication only after manual review. Playing and earning credit continue as before
Systematic, deliberate violations	Publishing ban: you may play, but not show the world
Illegal content	Immediate full block and, where the law requires, referral to the competent authorities

We aim to be proportionate: a full block is the last resort.

8. Appeals

If a photo was rejected or hidden and you think that is a mistake, tap "I disagree with the verdict". The case goes to a second check and a human review, usually within a day. Your streak holds while the review is open.
